Tungsten Carbide wedding ring review

Deciding on a wedding ring for myself was a little bit difficult because I work in a machine shop all day and knew my ring would get scratched up, banged up and probably end up looking like crap within a couple of months. I didn’t want to have to take my ring off at work because I know myself and I’d lose it.  I did my research and found Tungsten Carbide rings.  Tungsten Carbide is a very hard material and the rings are advertised as scratch resistant.  I purchased my ring on eBay a couple of months ago and have been wearing it every day at work.

I have to say that I am very impressed with this ring and I’m amazed that it still looks as new as the day I bought it.  I’m not the kind of person that will think about my ring while I’m working and try to avoid messing it up. I’m constantly clanking and scraping it on all sorts of different materials and every time I hear it I’m sure it’s going to leave a mark.  I also use abrasive hand cleaner all of the time and this thing still has it’s polished finish.

I definitely recommend a Tungsten Carbide ring to anyone who knows they’re going to be hard on their ring.  This thing seems indestructible.

As you can see from the picture I borrowed, the seller I bought it from on eBay was 72YWEBCOM.  I used “Buy it Now” and only paid $27.95 for it with free shipping.  I’ve seen these rings in stores for between $100 and $300.  The first ring I bought was a size 10 which was the size I was told I needed when I went to get my finger sized. It was too big so I contacted the seller and offered to pay for return shipping for a different size.  I sent the ring back and he sent me a size 9.5 and never asked for money for shipping.  I wore this ring for a while and decided that it too was big because it would sometimes come off while washing my hands.  I decided to just buy another ring from the same seller since they were so cheap so I ordered a size 9 which fits perfectly.  I guess the “Comfort Fit” rings fit looser then regular rings so if you’ve never worn a comfort fit ring you may want to order a size smaller.

If you’re interested in getting a Tungsten Carbide ring there are many different styles and I highly recommend buying from the eBay store I got mine at.
